Sunday’s Fgraffito Art

This was my Fgraffito exercise using Shiva artist’s oil paintsticks over India ink. Very enamored with this process and plan to do more.

It’s dramatic, but subtly so. I think it’s beautiful

    1. Thanks, Amy. It’s an interesting process. You paint India ink over watercolor paper, then cover with white Shiva oil paintstick and then draw and “take away.” I used the end of a sucker, you know those white sticks, for drawing. It was a blast.

I’ll be bringing some India ink to the April workshop- I’ve been using it a lot to draw and make marks on the encaustic surface. Fun!
