Original painting Sunday’s Fgraffito Art Posted by Kathie Vezzani on March 3, 2013March 5, 2013 This was my Fgraffito exercise using Shiva artist’s oil paintsticks over India ink. Very enamored with this process and plan to do more. Thanks, Amy. It’s an interesting process. You paint India ink over watercolor paper, then cover with white Shiva oil paintstick and then draw and “take away.” I used the end of a sucker, you know those white sticks, for drawing. It was a blast.

I’ll be bringing some India ink to the April workshop- I’ve been using it a lot to draw and make marks on the encaustic surface. Fun!

Nice portrait and her movie “Thelma & Louise” is one that I always remember because that Thunderbird convertible reminds me of my very first car.
