This weekend I was feeling a little constrained with painting small faces and wanted to get back to painting large. She’s a little different for me, quite intense and that’s why I came up with the name, Veiled Lover. It just seemed to fit.
I decided to play around with cropping her and decided that I really liked this close up showing the painted veil over her eyes. Loved it so much that I made it my new Facebook timeline picture.
