Emotion and imagination drive self-taught painter, Lisa G., to create her whimsical paintings. She is passionate about color and loves to create short stories with each wildly creative, often humorous painting. Fish and birds are reoccurring symbols in her paintings. Born in Montreal, she now lives near Paris in Sartrouville. The artist says that her main topics include love, peace, tolerance and freedom and the act of painting is to her, breathing. She takes mine away with her body of work. You can see more of Lisa’s work on her blog and to translate it from French go here.
I want to thank Lisa for giving me permission to share some of her work. You can Like her on Facebook here.
